2024 4th International Conference on Digital Society and Intelligent Systems (DSInS 2024), jointly hosted by the University of Technology Sydney and Southwest Jiaotong University, and co-organized by Sichuan University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Wuhan University of Technology, Social Computing Research Center of Central South University, was successfully held in Sydney, Australia (November 20–22, 2024) and Zhengzhou, China (November 22–24, 2024) respectively.

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Dr. Kaize Shi from the University of Technology Sydney, with Prof. Angela Huo from the University of Technology Sydney delivering the opening address. The conference invited distinguished keynote speakers, including Prof. Yonghui Li fromThe University of Sydney, Prof. Yan Wang from Macquarie University, and Prof. Paul Kennedy from the University of Technology Sydney. They delivered insightful keynote speeches covering frontier topics such as artificial intelligence, deep learning, machine learning, and digital healthcare.


DSInS 2024 attracted over 100 scholars from more than 50 universities across over ten countries, who participated either online or offline. Among the participants, 4 scholars presented oral reports at the Sydney venue and 11 at the Zhengzhou sub-venue. Following rigorous evaluation by the conference organizing committee experts, 3 scholars were awarded the Outstanding Paper Certificate. Prof. Angela Huo from the University of Technology Sydney presented the awards to the recipients and delivered the closing remarks.
