2023 3rd International Conference on Digital Society and Intelligent Systems (DSInS 2023)

On November 11, 2023, the 2023 3rd International Conference on Digital Society and Intelligent Systems (DSInS 2023), hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University and co-organized by the University of Technology Sydney, Sichuan University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Wuhan University of Technology, successfully concluded in Chengdu, China.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Jie Hu from Southwest Jiaotong University. Wang Zheng, Member of the Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of Southwest Jiaotong University, delivered the opening address. Prof. Lin Li from Wuhan University of Technology delivered a speech as Chair of the Technical Program Committee.
The conference invited distinguished keynote speakers including Prof. Bing Liu from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), Prof. Bo Peng from Southwest Jiaotong University, and Prof. Hsi-Chin Hung from Asia University. It also featured invited speakers: Prof. Lin Li from Wuhan University of Technology, Prof. Feng Zhao from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Xiaohui Tao from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and Prof. Yanjie Wei from Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. All speakers presented insightful keynote reports covering artificial intelligence, deep learning, digital infrastructure, digital healthcare and other related research topics.
DSInS 2023 attracted more than 150 scholars from over 70 universities across more than ten countries to participate online or on-site. Over 40 participants delivered oral presentations or poster displays. After rigorous evaluation by experts of the Conference Organizing Committee, six scholars were awarded certificates for Outstanding Paper, Outstanding Student Paper, and Outstanding Poster. Prof. Guandong Xu from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, presented the awards to the winners and delivered the closing remarks.
